Heritage Prairie Farm provides an ideal venue to celebrate. With our perfect balance of style and sustainability; the unique ambiance and sheer natural beauty combine to create a festive backdrop. Our dramatic barn settings, surrounded by our gardens and combined with candles, flowers, alternative lighting, and music, transforms the farm into a memorable setting for your next event.

Your special occasion will run smoothly with our staff’s creative energy, artistic insight, and background in hosting a variety of events. Working one-on-one with you, we will assist you with caterers, flowers, party rentals, accommodations and other details. We work with area event planners and caterers, and can connect you with one of that will be right for you and your budget. We offer in-house catering that focuses on seasonal and locally grown produce –from our farm or with our local farming partners. With enough lead time prior to your event, we can grow specific produce for your event! You can also choose from our line of local “take-away” gifts for your guests.
Heritage Prairie Farm offers a variety of spaces for your event. Our rustic barn, a farmhouse, a 40 x 100 event tent, and endless outdoor space. Events can be held solely in one location or multiple spaces can be used to create an event unique to any other! The farm offers lots of open space for games! Favorites include bags, horseshoes, kickball, croquet and badminton. The following rates are intended for large events. To host a smaller, intimate gathering please call for rates and availability. The Farm is 40 miles west of Chicago, 2 miles from the closest Metra station.

The Heritage Prairie Farm Table Warm, welcoming meals begin with the table. An empty table is like a canvas, for you to consider who will sit where, what food will grace it, and what the mood of the meal is likely to be. Think of your table as a blank canvas – and think about how you want it to look - this will help steer you in making all your choices.
At the farm, we love seating people at one large table. (we do welcome other styles) from 2-250. We can set you at one table. One table is a table full of energy, conviviality, and love. Dinner served family style is a great way to dine - everyone starts and ends together. We think that a table full of wonderful foods to share makes for an exciting culinary adventure. A great table full of surprises. This goes beyond the main dish or a special dessert. It includes homemade condiments that perk up the meal. Little tasty dishes that tickle our tastebuds with sweet, hot and sour sensations! When you sit at our Farm Table, you will always find endless bowls of homemade relishes, chutneys, pickled goods, breads, butters and jams. Wild flowers in mason jar, candles down the center of the table, tiki lamps, all under a star lit night – what could be more beautiful! We also can do buffet or table service style! Your choice!
